These are specific accounts that have a centrally located tank with a meter at each location that tracks usage, similar to PG&E. At the end of each month we come out and read the meter and send you a bill for the amount of gas you used.
Opening a Metered Account requires a $250.00 deposit. This deposit is paid before your account is opened and the gas is turned on. This deposit is required because you will be using the propane before you are billed for it. Your $250.00 deposit will remain on record with your account until the account is closed. The deposit will then be applied to your last month’s balance.

***Locked Gates: if we arrive on your scheduled route day and the customers gate is closed / locked we will drive away, it is the customers responsibility to have their gate open on their scheduled route day or a key or gate combo must be provided, WE DO NOT OFFER PHONE CALLS OR DELIVERY TIMES. We only know the scheduled route day.
New Kemgas tanks comes partially filled with enough fuel to pressure test the system and get you up and running. This way you can start using the tank immediately without waiting for the delivery truck to come on your scheduled route day. Because of this you may receive 2 Propane bills your first month (one for the initial amount of Propane and the other for the Propane used to fill your tank completely on your first route day).
***Tax Exemption: customers only qualify for tax exempt if the residence is their primary residence. (This means they live there more than 6 months out of the year)
(For more information on tax exemption for Propane, please see the LPG Sales Tax Exemption Form)
